{ Happy Halloween! }

Lincoln insisted on being a dragon for Halloween this year so we happily indulged him and bought an adorable little costume.  He had a great time trick-or-treating around town to family and friends!

Having fun with Grandma Pat

Scary dragon toes!

I guess the camera really does add ten pounds!

Trick-or-treat Grandma Giesler!

Showing off his treat

Lincoln thought Olive would be a tasty snack for a little dragon.

All tuckered out after a long night of fun

Happy Halloween!

{ Fall Photo Fun }

I thought it would be fun to take Lincoln to the pumpkin patch to take some festive fall pictures last week.  I got him all dressed, called Grape Grandma to accompany us on this adventure, and we headed out to the Berry Ranch.  Lincoln was smiling and adorable when my grandma got to our house, but fell asleep on the drive out there and when we woke him up he was NOT in the mood to smile for pictures.  We got a few cute ones but most of them are of a half asleep sullen little guy.  It was fun anyway :-)

This one is my favorite :-)

{ Up Up and Away! }

(I started this post weeks and weeks ago.  The event itself was the first weekend in September and Lincoln has changed so much since then!)

A few Saturdays ago we got up early (notice how I didn't say woke up early - we now have a handy system to handle that), loaded up the boy and headed down to Ann Morrison Park for the Spirit of Boise Balloon Festival.  My grandparents used to take my brother and me when we were little so I was excited to take Lincolon and continue the tradition.  We took him in his jammers just like my grandparents used to take us :-)

Check out all those chins!

"Seriously Mom - enough with the pictures!"

As expected a good time was had by all.  We're excited to go again next year!

{ What do you think? }

Some days I think Lincoln looks more like me...

...and other days more like Casey.

What do you think?

{ It's a Girl! }

Congratulations to our friends Preston & Jodi!  After a very long wait they finally welcomed little

Shaw Katherine Price

into the world on October 13th!

Shaw is adorable with chubby chipmunk cheeks and Preston & Jodi are doing great with her.  Lincoln insisted we go visit them last week and I'm so glad we did.  I loved holding her - Shaw seems so tiny next to our monster five month old!

We're looking forward to having all sorts of fun with Shaw and her parents over the coming years :-)
