We had the most fun date night ever last night! Fountain Hills had an outdoor movie night at the lake - and they were showing Kung Fu Panda! I have been wanting to see that movie since it came out and I can't think of a better venue. It was a beautiful clear evening, perfect for movie watching under the stars. We took a blanket, our picnic dinner (chicken, mashed potatoes, tomato-feta-basil salad, pineapple), and some homemade caramel corn (recipe here) and had ourselves a great time. The movie was fun, the food tasty, and the company unbeatable. It was a little more chilly than I thought it would be, but overall a superfun evening! Oh, and it was FREE - even better :0)
