We loved seeing Pat, Harv, and Kass (as always). It's been really quiet since they left - it makes me really miss living close to family...

Cookin' with the fam
Casey's family came to visit last week. It was so great to see them and spend some time together. One night we made dinner together out of the Moroccan cookbook they got me for Christmas. We made Apricot Chicken and had Almond Rice Pudding for dessert. Mmmmmmmm. It was all so delicious.

Javolina sighting!
Earlier this week I was in the living room, minding my own business when out of no where a javolina just walked on by our back patio. Holy cow! I knew they lived around here, but I haven't seen one in person except for at the zoo! I grabbed my camera to get a quick shot - it didn't turn out so well but hey, I tried.

I'm so excited...
...I'm about to head out the door to my first ever quilting class. This series of classes was my Christmas gift from Casey. What a guy! Here is my stack of fabric that will soon be a real quilt (hopefully). Wish me luck!

Christmas Pics
We had a great time seeing our families and friends during our time in Boise. Our only regret is that we didn't have more time to spend with everyone. Hopefully that won't be a problem in 2009! Here are some pics of our trip:
***Okay, as if I wasn't already late enough posting these pics, blogger is having issues and won't let me upload them. Grrr. Will try again soon!***
